Network Testing, Labelling and Documentation in Impington
Impington sits immediately north of Cambridge and alongside Histon, giving it easy access to the city while retaining its village character - and its mix of homes and businesses has the same need for properly tested and documented network infrastructure as anywhere in the region.
The village has older properties near its centre, including some attractive period housing, alongside substantial post-war residential development. Its proximity to Cambridge means a high proportion of professional and academic residents, many of whom work from home and require a network they can rely on without mystery cables or unlabelled patch panels causing confusion.
We test every cable run, label each port and panel position with a clear and consistent scheme, and supply written documentation covering the complete network layout. For Impington households managing complex home-office setups, or small businesses sharing a premises, that record removes the uncertainty from any future network work.
